You can also use them as the basis for further experimentation with stitch, contemporary patchwork etc. ![]() Katie will guide you through each step showing you how to mix inks, cut stencils, plan your composition and how to screen print onto fabric.īy the end of the course you will have a collection of printed fabrics which you can either frame as pictures, or make up into small wall hangings or cushions. We will start by creating inspirational mood boards from the visual material you bring along with you using these as the basis for your compositions and screen-printing stencils. We will also explore piecing elements of printed fabric together to create exciting and dynamic compositions. We will be using pigment inks and hand cut screen stencils to layer print, play with colour and colour overlays.
